Games for 6 - 10yrs Easter Egg Hunt
Easter Scavenger Hunt.
With all the chocolate that is going to be around at this time of year it is a good idea to make your little ones work for their chocolate eggs!
A fun way to do this is to have a scavenger hunt.
If you have children of differing ages it can be difficult to ensure that the older ones don’t get all the eggs. A good way to try to stop this happening is to get some pieces of different coloured card.
Each child has their own colour. Cut out 10 stars in each colour then hide the stars around the house or garden instead of the chocolate – once they have found as many as they can then they can swap the stars for chocolate.
This ensures that if you have a younger child you can hide their stars at an appropriate height and in easier hiding places for them.
The older ones then have to find their own coloured stars that can be hidden in more challenging places.
It is most importantly meant to be fun so help your children, give them clues – especially the warmer… colder…. variety and do make sure they all get their chocolate at the end.
